Frequently asked questions
Straight answers for consumers learning the category and businesses sourcing wholesale cones.
What are bulk cones?
Bulk cones are empty pre-rolled rolling-paper cones sold in wholesale formats — typically nested towers of hundreds of cones — for businesses and high-volume consumers who fill their own product.
What is a cone factory?
A cone factory forms paper and tips into empty cones. It is usually separate from the facility that later fills cones with herb. Major factories operate in India, China, Southeast Asia, and a smaller set of automated sites in Europe and North America.
Who is the largest cone manufacturer?
Hara Supply is widely regarded as the world’s largest pre-rolled cone manufacturer, with India-based production often reported around 100 million cones per month and a U.S. distribution hub in Las Vegas.
What sizes of pre-rolled cones are most common?
Common wholesale sizes include mini (~70 mm), small (~78 mm), 1¼ (~84 mm), 98 mm, and king (~109 mm). Listings often show length/tip codes such as 84/26 or 109/26.
Where can I buy wholesale bulk cone towers?
You can buy stocked wholesale bulk cone towers on Empti’s pre-rolled cones collection, including mini, small, 1¼, and king sizes with volume pricing.
Do Futurola, OCB, Blazy Susan, and RAW use the same factory?
Not necessarily the same single factory. Hara Supply publicly lists OCB (and other major operators) among production clients and is often cited as OEM’ing for much of the category. Futurola and Blazy Susan are frequently discussed in connection with large India OEMs, though those links are not always publicly confirmed. RAW / HBI documents cone assembly in Ireland (Abellio) and Indonesia.
What paper is best for cones?
It depends on brand positioning and equipment. Refined white pulp is classic and neutral; unbleached brown signals a natural look; hemp is tougher with a mild earthy note. Validate burn and filler performance with samples.
What MOQ should a new brand expect?
Stock towers can start at a single tower. Custom printed OEM runs often require much higher minimums — sometimes tens of thousands of cones — with multi-week lead times after artwork approval.
